Im Japit J. Tan, 18, a first-year college student at Cebu Technological University Danao, pursuing a Bachelor of Industrial Technology in Computer Technology. Despite attending a tuition-free school, I face financial challenges due to various expenses. As the eighth of nine siblings from a middle-class family, I struggle to make ends meet. Four siblings are married, while five, including myself, are still studying. My father, a former tricycle driver, suffered a mild stroke in 2022, rendering him unable to work. My mother cares for him, leaving her unemployed. To support my education, I work at the public market after classes. My two siblings and I balance work and studies to sustain our schooling. We rely on these part-time jobs for daily allowances. I humbly seek financial assistance to continue my studies. Your support would significantly alleviate my familys burden.
