Dear Maam/Sir, Im Japit J. Tan, an 18-year-old first-year college student at Cebu Technological University Danao, studying Computer Technology. Despite attending a tuition-free school, I face financial challenges, including school uniforms, projects, and contributions. As the 8th of 9 siblings from a middle-class family, we struggle to make ends meet. Four of my siblings are in college, and the youngest is in senior high school. My father, a former tricycle driver, suffered a mild stroke in 2022, leaving him unable to work. My mother cares for him, and I work after school to support myself. I work at the public market to earn my daily allowance, as my mothers income is insufficient to support the five of us students. Two of my siblings are also working students. Im grateful for Maam Rosena Lawas introducing us to this foundation. I humbly request any assistance to help me complete my studies.
